Font Manager

The font manager allows you to add font references to the application’s font database for access within the application’s theme editor.

Controls

  1. Refresh - Performs a reload of all referenced fonts in the font database. You can press this button if you have performed a search and wish to clear the search results.
  2. Search - Allows you to find a font reference within the application’s font database by using the font title as the search attribute.
  3. Order – Sorts the category entries displayed by title or date of creation in either ascending or descending order.
  4. New - Gives you access to a file browser that will allow you to add new font references into the application’s database. When you locate a valid .otf or .ttf file select it and press finish in the menu to save a reference of it to the application’s database.*
  5. Update Selected – Allows you to edit the title of the selected font.

*If your smart device is using an Android version that is greater than 10 (Android Q) then the application will create a copy of the font file inside the app directory and reference the copy instead. This is because the most recent versions of Android have stricter rules that limit how applications can read or access certain files.

Other functions can be accessed by holding your pointer on an entry. Once in highlight mode you can revert back to the previous mode by either repeating the operation, pressing your device’s back button, performing a delete operation or by holding your pointer on an entry.

  1. Invert Selection – Highlights all entries in the list that are not highlighted and un-highlights all entries that are highlighted.
  2. Delete Selected – Permanently removes the selected font reference from the font database.
