Saving log entries as a file

Saving log entries as a file will mean that you can share your log data with practically any computer or person. To do this perform the following steps:

Step 1

Hold your pointer on a log entry for approximately 1 second the status text in the menu bar will change to show the number of selected log entries.

Step 2

Highlight the desired log entries by pressing them with your pointer, if you wish to un-highlight an item then simply press the selected item again. If you wish to select all items then insure that no items are highlighted and press the Invert Selection menu item.

Step 3

Once you are satisfied with your selection access the menu via the menu toggle button and press Export Selected.

Step 4

You will now be presented with a view of your smart device’s files and folders choose a folder to save the file to.

Step 5

When you have found a sensible location access the menu via the menu toggle button and press Select Current Directory.

Step 6

A view will display querying for a filename to be entered for the file, type in a relevant filename (not including an extension) and press Confirm. If you type in a filename that is shared with another file in the selected folder then the filename that you have entered will be amended with a number on the end.
